Hi guys
When I unlock my car and open the door I can hear a strange “bong” sound from inside the car, it keeps making this noise until I start the car. Does anyone know why it does this/what it is? I’ve never known this before and I’ve had the car for 3years

I’ve changed mine to a red and black one from super skoda

Mine barely run in currently on 77000 2011 tdi😃

Experts say no, But then plenty take run flats off a MINI / BMW and fit non run flat tyres. Or vice versa.
The thing is we do not know what wheels @HelenandCo has on the Yeti & if OEM.
Are they actually Goodyear Run Flat and not Goodyear Selfseal tyres?
Lets assume since the post said Run Flat they are that.
Best thing I ever did was take the run flats off my mini, they where awful.

I’d come along 😀

Just a quick update with some photos from today. The car's proving to be a great daily driver and it's definitely a lot better to drive than my original Mk1 - I'd recommend Stage 2 to anyone who's thinking about it.
I had a chance to take it out over the Moors near Whitby today and took a few photos on my phone. Sorry they aren't the best quality but you get the idea. The roads were very quiet and it felt like I had the whole place to myself which doesn't happen very often nowadays. It's a great car and all credit goes to the previous owners for setting it up so well.
Looks even better on those wheels

It's a KillAllWipers glass bung. Designed to fit the correct size of the screen and glues in with waterproof epoxy. I've done the rubber bung route before on a few cars, although I've found they are never quite the right size and typically either leak or get knocked off when washing the car 😂
I have the killallwipers bung on my car and so far so good.

Common fault, about £80-£100 for a unit. I have seen lots of people opt to remove the rear wiper and plug the fluid hole so essentially its a clean delete of the rear wiper all together.
This is what I’ve done, it looks loads better imo

NIce looking car, not a fan of the skoda badge going acros the boot though

The mrs has 16” winters on her yeti and 17” wheels as standard for the rest of the year

Silly question but how do you open the bonnet once the grill is fitted?

I know the feeling, as I was gutted to get rid of my Abarth but like you I needed something more practical.

Also used super skoda on a few occasions and their products are spot on.

Any damage to the wheels beside the kerb mark that’s in the first pic.

The back of the child seat will have two long bits on the rear of the seat, simply line them up the the anchor points in your car and push the seat into place. You will hear it click into place and the seat is then secure in your car and ready for use

I never bothered with the clips when I fitted mine

I’m pretty sure the owners manual says 10/12 years so Id see what you’re local dealer can do

That could be the issue has when the car has been sat unused for a couple of days it does seem hesitant to start 🤔. I’m self isolating at the moment to so can’t really venture to the garage to get my battery checked 😔
