Torque settings for spark plug NGK IZFR6P7 ?
jim157 replied to john123's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
They're the plugs NGK recommend for that engine. -
When was your car built? If it was before early 2011 there's a good chance that it has a substandard chain and tensioner that really should be replaced sooner rather than later.

Standard ones are blue. The Osram ones you've linked to look fairly similar to them.

Great info, thanks. Did Skoda do the work under warranty?

Curbed a wheel on my Fabia. What shall i do?
jim157 replied to ang9444's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
There's been numerous threads covering the paint colour of the monte wheels but Skoda F7S dark grey seems to be a close-ish match. I've used it and it's pretty close but not exact. That may have been down to the mixing of the paint or the application though... -
Quick monte DRL question, will these work?
jim157 replied to ang9444's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Do you get any canbus errors with those ones? -
Time for a hid sticky thread me thinks...
-
No, just a canbus h7 kit. The shutter in the headlight unit cuts the beam from full to dip.

Anyone fixed the water leak in the boot ?
jim157 replied to jamestay1's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
It might be coming from a leaking rear wash/wipe pipe. A fairly common problem that affects quite a few VAG cars. -
Skoda F7S Dark Grey.

Both Bottom Front Bottom Lights Have Condensation.
jim157 replied to FabMonte's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
It's a 'standard feature' which is even mentioned in the owners handbook. There's nothing to worry about, in terms of damage being done.... -
They are wired up in the Monte Carlo's as they use a different fog/drl light unit to the VRS. Probably more versatile as well, as I cant imagine the led's in the VRS make very good fog lights?
