  1. Get yourself onto clubpolo and look for a guy called poloace, ive used a few of his chips and can vouch for his work, keenly priced too.
  2. Im not familiar with the favorit but if the pluga are anything like the VAG cars of a same era as you look into the plug from where the wire enters you should see the that the connector has a spur that sticks out slightly. To remove the connector from the sleeve just use a small watch makers screwdriver to hold the spur back whilst easing it out of the sleeve.
  3. That really wont matter when you sail past those GTI boys at the traffic light grand prix.
  4. This firm do seals that clip into ends creating a seal.
  5. If its the glass to frame seal you could try to replace the seal with something a bit more substantial. I can remember the company name now, (sorry) but there is a firm that advertise in the back of most of the classic car mags that sell hundreds of different profiles of rubber seal, may or may not be cheaper than an OE seal.
  6. Evening all! Got a pair of new front shockers on their way as one of the fronts are leaking and got a metallic knocking as i drive over a bump which appears to be coming from the the leaky drivers side shocker. Im going to fit them with new lower pinch bolts and top mounts while im there, Ive got a not-so-quick question.................... Ive got a bit of steering wheel wobble between 65-75mph and wondered if the new shocks would sort this or should i be looking to replace both lower arms complete with bushes while im there or is there likely to be another cause. Ive had a new set of wheels and tyres on there and the wobble is still there so i know its not the wheels. Is there anything else to consider replacing which is likely to require attention? Its all coming apart so I may as well do it all in one hit.
  7. Let me know if G&S are a no-go for the bits and il check out out my parts booty as ive stripped a diesel and a GTI a couple of years back and Im sure ive still got some bits kicking around.
  8. I was hoping to get out and have a root round the local breakers yard today but had some chores to do and didnt make it. Whats the diferences between the early and later Felicia headlamps? If 6n headlights will fit that opens up a few possibilities.
  9. Get one for a 6n Polo but make sure it matches the dizzy cap.
  10. If you were willing to put the graft in and had the required skills, you could bulid one cheaper, obviously the labour is a large element. The mag it was featured in reckoned it cost iro 20K to build.
  11. No, but they can make you one to fit your car and they will also make up the covers for you to fit and mail them to you, it will also look beter than an old L&K one.
