My steering wheel is quite dull around the rim but shiny in the little used parts. Does anyone know if its possible to restore the dull parts?
Are you saying you want a shiny steering wheel?

Busy time , three cars washed and coated with q/d
Wifes Prius done yesterday , BSD over the Fusso 99
My Octy with Reload over the Cquartz
and my 370z , already for Japfest on Saturday , BSD again over wax
370 tucked up in the garage , the other two will probably be pooped all over by this time tomorrow
Love the octy, well done they look great!

I use Megs class cleaner, I find it very easy to use and does not smear. I then always seal windows with hellshine ghostrider.

Yeah I use proper detailing gloves, they don't cost too much and for things like purple rain or any other iron x type product I think they are a necessity.
-
I always use rubber gloves. That's about it.

Agreed I'd rather pay the extra for a DA but I just thought if on a budget it might be ok, plus it's Megs! Might not be too bad.I've had a go with one & they are quite hard to control. It's not much more for a DA polisher. But that's just my opinion.

Have I missed out on 5ltrs of snow foam and mesto foamer deal?

Never tried it but you could consider one of these as an alternative.

Agreed, don't waste your money buy a cheap DA even a basic second hand would be good. Its OK for applying glazes/liquid waxes (Possibly)..but thats all
You certainly will struggle to correct paintwork with it..Thats for sure
IMO..Save your money and save up for a DA Polisher instead
Check eBay out.

Leather steering wheel restore
in Styling and Car Care
Posted
Wow, I'm guessing it's quite old? I would you autoglym leather care products on it. But don't expect miracles as that looks a real mess.
