Yes my 1.5 sel Dsg is the same. Although some times it's quicker than others. Once it took 9 days with a blank screen.

My 1.5SEL Dsg stop start works perfectly.

Infotainment will not start up. For the past 4 days all I get is the welcome screen but nothing works, no radio, sat nav, media, car, home etc. I have tried rebooting the system a few times with no luck. Even the SOS and info and dealer links dont work despite a green light showing. Any ideas? I have tried booking it in the dealers but they cant look until 4th May. No loan vehicle offered.

I swapped Fabia vrs for the same as you. Use normal 95oct fuel as no gain using the premium stuff.

Shame the infotainment is so temperamental with the SEL.

Now on my 3rd, its a 63 reg 2014 with Amundsen+ DAB, climate, reversing sensor etc. Still cannot find out how to update the maps in the Sat Navy? Any ideas? Dealer says can't be done!

I have a 2014 VRs just delivered on 2nd September with the Amundsen + fitted that has DAB as a £90 add on at the factory but I notice is now included in the Amudsen + at the new price of £630 instead of the £535 that I paid plus £90. I still had to pay for the bluetooth as an extra at £200 or so pounds. Shame the aunndsen+ still has a stutter that the origional Amundsen never had. This is my 3rd Fabia 2 Vrs in 3 years but now regret should have saved up the pennies and tried the new Octavia VRs instead. Oh well there still is the lottery!

I got over 35K on my first VRs on Conti 2's but was prepared to give some miles up for the superiority of the Dunlop Mxx.

My last Vrs was ordered in July 2012 delivered on 1st Dec 2012 and still showing on track my skoda as awaiting build date so your dealer was right!!!

Factory ordered last week Vrs, Black Magic, Climate, Parking Sensors, Black Alloys, Grey Interior, Smokers Pack, Amundsen+ Sat Nav, Front and rear mud flaps, Telephone kit, 3 Spoke Multifunction Steering. Told delivery should be 23rd August 2013. Just noticed on configuration page on-line that Digital Radio available at extra £90. Wonder if that can be or will be added to order by dealer?

My dealer swapped the cable over when I took delivery for the usb type. He said you get a free choice of 1 cable only. Others can be obtained from parts dept.

Hope you had more luck than me, On line configurator and customer services confirmed that my Vrs has front fog lights and auto lights prior to my order, but they are not. Caused big rumpus with factory as neither were they prepared to retro fit. Settled for 2 free services now, but should have gone to court for breach of contract. Amazing that Monte-Carlo has the front fogs and no Fabia in UK has auto lights. Where do they get the specs from?

Hi, I have just taken delivery of my 2nd Mk Vrs Fabia, and its an absolute darling of a car. The engine has oddles of torque and with the DSG gearbox as standard it drives very well. The handling on the Mk2 is better and the ride comfortable which is unusual for a very warm hatch. Go for it !!!!!!

Just had my second vRS180 delivered and both had standard Skoda mud flaps fitted with no problems or modifactions needed. Dealer also believed Accessories handbook that they were not suited to vRS but I told them to ignore the book and they fit fine. In fact on my new Black vRS they look very smart !!! Fitted price front and rear £70.

Just took delivery of vRS180 wk 45 build with Amundsen+ fitted. It does not have DAB even though the on-line handbook says it does. Maxi-Dot is standard on vRS so don't know if its part of the Amundsen+ package. My exchange car was also vRS180 with the Amundsen fitted but it only had 5 digit postcode search where new unit does the more useful 7.
