  1. Update Dropped off at a local garage on Friday morning and got it back at lunchtime. Upshot was an error on the RH Seatbelt Pretensioner: B130504 Belt Tensioner Control Unit Ps Component Defective This was down to a resistance error, but was also in conjunction with a load of other various errors. They cleared the resistance error, checked the connection and all sound. Cleared the reaminig errors. Test drive and diagnostic retest and all a-okay. Job done.
  2. Hi! My 2023 Enyaq 80 has the above error on the screen when switching on. The warning message disappears after a few seconds, but the warning persists in the Car Status menu. I have ckecked the airbag fuse (15A in No. 2 position) and this has not blown. Clearly removing and reseating it hasn't reset anything either. checking the DVLA there are no outstanding recalls. No other issues whilst driving the car, so I am guessing this could be an airbag failure? So, my question is: Is this something I can fix myself, or am I looking at contacting a garage? Excuse the sun shining on the screens in the photos - its nice the sun is out for once.
  3. Apologies for the delay, but thanks for the advice. Some additonal things for me to consider.
  4. So, I've placed an order for an Enyaq 80 Sportline Plus with the Maxx Pack in Metallic Grey. This is to replace my 2020 Superb Estate L&K. Between Road Tax and diesel prices, its just getting too expensive. Now just a six month or so wait... Anyhow, this also means i now need to invest in a home charger. With the lead time, at least I have some time to consider the options here. My plan is to put something on Checkatrade for a quote, and have come up with the following questions. Is there anything I have missed and should also be asking? Make and model of charger(s) Details on plug type Length of included charging cable Cost per meter of a longer cable Time to complete installation How much notice would you need for installation
  5. Thanks for this. Much appreciated.
  6. Yep. Functions normally as expected. The fuse is not blowing when in place. Removing the fuse clealry prevents the drain on the battery compared to when the fuse is in place.
  7. My partner's 62-plate Fabia Monte Carlo has a clear short circuit with the rear wiper. How do I know this? Well, after only a few days left undriven the battery gets drained. Removing the fuse (No. 26) means that this doesn't happen. Jump starting the battery is fine, and the alternator is recharging as expected. What I'm wondering is, is there anything I can do about sorting this without resorting to a auto-electrician?
  8. It is just a generic 1080p dash cam, and more than likely has an un-shielded cable, hence my issue.
  9. I was thinking the same. I do have one, but it is for a wider cable and therefore doesn't fit very well so when I tried it, it didn't seem to work.
  10. I have a 2020 Superb L&K Estate and have recently started using a dashcam attached just behind the rear view mirror on the left hand side on the hatched area. The camera is powered from the 12v socket using the cable that came with it. I have started noticing that the camera - well cable - is interfering with the DAB reception. What I'd like to know is where is the DAB aerial located? I always assumed it was the sharkskin to the rear of the roof. Alternatively, are there any suggestions as to how I can reduce/remove the interference? I have tried feeding the cable in various directions, but to no obvious benefit.
