  1. I've got the same problem and i want to substitute the buzzer. Do you know where can i find a replacement buzzer?
  2. Hi, I've got the same problem in my 2005 Skoda Octavia II. Also this affects the warning sound for the missing seat belt, etc... What i read was that this could be a problem with the column inside the quadrant and replacing the column could solve the problem. The problem is that i can't find anything or any shop that sells the column. any help? Cheers.
  3. Hi guys, news... Changed the fuse, the drain continues. So it's not the fuse. Unplug all the plugs in the back of the radio, one by one and only i unplug the power the drain is over. So the conclusion it's the radio that does this consumption. Any more ideas?
  4. Hi, yes i've understood what was your recommendation to debug the thing. The new radio option is only if nothing else works and also to start to look what will be the prices and types of radio that you guys recommend.
  5. Just to have a, at least, other option to solve this issue (one that i would like to avoid, but...), do you guys know any good place to buy a radio for my Skoda Octavia MK2 (probably now with Android) to substitute the one that have got that is causing all this problems (potentially)? (and that ships to Portugal)
  6. Ah ok. Now i get what you mean. Yeah i can have a go on that.
  7. I just get the fuse and replace it. More news to come...
  8. No, this battery drain happens when the ignition is OFF. No key in the car.
  9. Yes. i've posted pictures with and without the fuse.
  10. Hi, i've only got the time now to have this done. So, about the radio tick when i untick the thing it gives me an error on the gateway. Address 19: CAN Gateway (J533) Labels: 7N0-907-530-V2.clb Part No SW: 7N0 907 530 H HW: 1K0 907 951 Component: J533 Gateway H42 1620 Revision: H42 Serial number: 070911F1002505 Coding: 352302 Shop #: WSC 73430 790 00085 VCID: 3561C75F9CB4ADB6775-8060 1 Fault Found: 01044 - Control Module Incorrectly Coded 000 - - Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 01100000 Fault Priority: 1 Fault Frequency: 1 Reset counter: 255 Mileage: 191567 km Time Indication: 0 Date: 2000.00.00 Time: 12:16:43 So i think this needs to be ticked. Measuring the battery with the new multimeter it seems that the problem is yet not solved. Same as before, but with a new CAN Gateway, the battery is drained by 0,45 amps. Pictures below: This is the measure with the radio fuse ON (Arrow in the picture): This is the measure with the radio fuse OFF (Arrow in the picture): As you can see the drain continues... Cheers.
  11. Hi, Just did the tick on telephone and radio and like you said the CAN Gateway error disappeared. This is the status of the thing: 01-Engine -- Status: OK 0000 03-ABS Brakes -- Status: OK 0000 04-Steering Angle -- Status: OK 0000 08-Auto HVAC -- Status: OK 0000 09-Cent. Probably its detecting that the old micro is no longer there. About the radio like you suggested i will not do anything. Regarding the wiper switch (i don't know what this is) i need to investigate further because i've not tested the wipers. neither front neither in the back. Any lights would be appreciated. Cheers.
  12. Hi, i've remove the tick from the Installation List because it was giving me errors and also the error from the gateway was there. For example when i had the Telephone ticked this was the error that appear: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Address 77: Telephone Labels: 5P0-862-335.lbl Part No SW: 5P0 862 335 HW: 5P0 862 335 Component: FSE_2P5x H18 0030 Revision: 00000001 Serial number: 00000000188674 Coding: 0000422 Shop #: WSC 73430 790 00000 VCID: F0EFB64BE356489EE43-80A5 1 Fault Found: 01523 - Microphone for Telephone (R38) 011 - Open Circuit Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 01101011 Fault Priority: 5 Fault Frequency: 1 Reset counter: 12 Mileage: 191274 km Time Indication: 0 Date: 2000.00.00 Time: 12:33:37 This was the Installation List before i've changed the gateway: So the Radio and the Telephone are there but with the new one it gave me different errors. What should i do? Should i tick the radio and the telephone? Cheers.
  13. Sooooooo... updates from this quest!!! I've installed the new CAN BUS Gateway (...530H) and when i've tried to measure the battery drain my multimeter melt... Now i need to buy a new multimeter!!! But about the gateway i've got a few questions and news. This is the result of the new scan: Chassis Type: 1Z (7N0) Scan: 01 03 08 09 15 16 17 19 25 42 44 46 52 56 62 72 76 77 VIN: TMBGE61Z952080524 Mileage: 191270km/118849miles 01-Engine -- Status: OK 0000 03-ABS Brakes -- Status: OK 0000 04-Steering Angle -- Status: OK 0000 08-Auto HVAC -- Status: OK 0000 09-Cent. Elect. -- Status: OK 0000 15-Airbags -- Status: OK 0000 16-Steering wheel -- Status: OK 0000 17-Instruments -- Status: OK 0000 19-CAN Gateway -- Status: Malfunction 0010 25-Immobilizer -- Status: OK 0000 42-Door Elect, Driver -- Status: OK 0000 44-Steering Assist -- Status: OK 0000 46-Central Conv. -- Status: OK 0000 52-Door Elect, Pass. -- Status: OK 0000 56-Radio -- Status: Not registered 0011 62-Door, Rear Left -- Status: OK 0000 72-Door, Rear Right -- Status: OK 0000 76-Park Assist -- Status: OK 0000 77-Telephone -- Status: Not registered 0011 So the only malfunction that worries me is the one from the Gateway itself. Here is the detailed failure: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Address 19: CAN Gateway (J533) Labels: 7N0-907-530-V2.clb Part No SW: 7N0 907 530 H HW: 1K0 907 951 Component: J533 Gateway H42 1620 Revision: H42 Serial number: 070911F1002505 Coding: 352302 Shop #: WSC 73430 790 00085 VCID: 3561C75F9CB4ADB6775-8060 1 Fault Found: 01044 - Control Module Incorrectly Coded 000 - - Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 01100000 Fault Priority: 1 Fault Frequency: 1 Reset counter: 255 Mileage: 191274 km Time Indication: 0 Date: 2000.00.00 Time: 17:32:07 After a lot of tentatives and digging into the subject i´m out of options. Here are the detail pictures of the configs: This is one thing that is very different from the old gateway: Any idea / way / option that solves the problem of the gateway fault? Cheers.
  14. Yes, the battery in only 8 months old. I've already received the CAN Bus gateway today and i will try to do the installation this weekend and then proceed with the measurements again and then charge the battery and also run the battery tests, again. Hopefully i get all things right or else i don't have car anymore, at least for a long period
  15. Hi, yes i've tested the battery today. Values not good!!! battery in rest: 11,83V Engine started: 13,85V Engine at 3000 rpm: 13, 93V Battery has 8 months. Cheers.
