  1. do you know we have 180% tax on cvars in denmark i payed 26000
  2. well because of a very complicated law "against funny cars" a 2,0 wont go through the MOT but the 1,8 will!! decides the goal is 400-500bhp

  4. that shaking is because your motormounts cant keep up with the torque if u have 170bhp u must have over 400nm of torque??? mine do the same in every gear when accelerating hard from 2000-2500Rpms and its most recogniseable in higher gears. if i accelerate from 1500 rpm and look at my boost-(meter??) i can se that the turboboost rises slowly at the same rate as the rpm`s but when it hits 2000 rpm it goes up from 1,0Bar to 1,6bar in an instant and then the shaking begins.... (and when looking at dyno measures this sis also where the torque peaks) hope this explains
  5. they fit when it stands still, but it was undriveable as they caugth on at bumps and turning and its standard suspension Edit they are 8,5x18 ET 35 A8 rims with 225/40-18" tires
  6. u will newer get them on a fabia they are 11,7% bigger than the original and i know we tried my m8`s 18" octy wheels on a vRS (hmm i think i have a pic) u should go for the 225/30-18 tires made by BF-goodrich they fit.... furthermore u must newer put new wheels on that are more than 3% bigger than ur original size as it will **** up ur ABS system...

Arrrrghh:mad: the mecanic that should do all the metal works has tripled the estimated price that he told me so i dont have the funds to get it done rigth now i was not ready to pay 1500£ + paint to get 4 new wheel arches + my friend is fitting a turbo engine in his Golf mk 1 with 200bhp and i cant live with being number 2 in a duel.... so i will only get this done at this time: Damage on car will be fixed. just needs to be painted and put back on Grooved and drilled 312x25mm zimmermann brakes (ordered 27/1) Brembo 4-pot kalibers. (bougth on a danish tuning-forum 29/1 230£) plastic side lists will be removed (done) Seat front lip and strutbracers will be fitted (ordered 27/1 will pick up 31/1). new FMIC with bigger Tubes (custom made for 600£) Vnt 20 turbo. any body know where to get a good deal on this (cheaper than 560+25%Vat) new diesel racing injectors (ordered 27/1 will arrive in 14days or so) the Tuningbox im currently running will be changed to a ecu remap..´ Powerflex bushes and motormount (ordered 26/1 will arrive sometime next week) thats it for now i think but all together round 2500£ spent in 3 days:cool:
  8. 215 km/h on the speedo = 207 on my Gps. Standard 220 km/h on the speedo = 212 on my Gps. Cupra 160 intake and tuningsbox installed
  9. hmm i havent seen that on my car but i do know that a lot of oil go into the intake (guess the turbo is leaking to the boost-system) caus since fitting a Blowoff, my engine bay is all splattered with oil. And there where also oil in my boost pipes when i fitted it....

  11. there are no direction arrows on asymmetric tires....thats why the are asyymetric however they have an inner and an outer side...... as for your cars floating behaviour mine have that too on the original 16"s infact all fabia`s I have tried did that only cure is a new suspension.... it can be quite scaring when u feel the back end starting to overtake the front end round corners...
