It is indeed the spiral trunking thing that’s split. The forked tongue thing you mention is just the trim to push it back into the metalwork.

These 2 bits should be attached. Will try to join with another pipe thing.

I’m guessing that’s the bit that’s split and the water runs through it. Thanks

Thank you all for your help. Bought a can of that (wow smells so much nicer than WD40). Cleaned and removed the brake light. All fixed nicely. Grrr. Went inside and removed the cover and found this. How do you fix a broken hose like this ??

Is GT85 any different to WD40 ??

Hi. I have a Fabia 3 estate with an issue with the rear windscreen wash. It doesn’t work - I can hear the motor working and it’s leaking inside somewhere so is probably just a simple disconnect from the tubing. How do I access this point ? Is it hidden within the high level brake light ? (I think this is the case but have no idea how to access it to put it back together. ) I’ve tried searching the forum but can’t see this question answered within it. Thanks.
