  1. Dear all,

We want to inform you that important news about DSG7 are spreading lately :

-1- At last !! For the first time a major news media in Europe has reported the complains of DSG7 clients about the jerks and about the noisy metalic behavior in slow speed (mainly with 1.4 engine).

    Original article :

    - 2- VW China has recently offered a 10 years manufacturing waranty on DSG7 since the number of complaining clients has conducted chinese Quality authorities to start a inquiry. In order to restaure confidence, VW has decided to offer such waranty but did not made a recall of products.

Come and regroup in our Facebook page "SOS CLIENTS VW"

    Dear Drivers and Readers,

We are a group of drivers who decided to gather on Facebook in the sequence of the DSG7 behavior problems in brand new cars (mostly delivered in 2011).

You can find the group by googling "SOS CLIENTS VW" or directly trough http://lnk.nu/facebook.com/1y4s

We will be pleased to share views and make the number to show Volkswagen they can't get away with their responsabilities.

    Hope to see you soon.

  2. Thankyou for all the reply's... so it seems we have approx 1/3 of new vRS's suffering problems that affected their running, and their owners ability to use the car as intended... Although mine has been fault free (as I see it, I have delaminating allows and a squeeky glovebox, but what the hell! doesn't take the smile off my face, it would if I had Jonnys car! :o) we KNOW you are reading skoda UK.... is a new car that 30% of owners suffer problems with acceptable? hhhmmmm

I strongly agree : don't give bad habits to VAG engineers! The client is always right!

  3. But I am honest. The car brougth me to the italian Alps recently and I must say, in the highways, the drive was very good. Very much.

The problem come when you drive in the city (slowly and irregular ground). Every one agree on that in our group.

VW shouldn't consider this as a result of well done engineering development. A car is an expensive item I must say. Even if it's a "small" one. They can hear this message. Anyway, they recognized it. But they don't assume.

  4. Your meaning is to say this list of cars work good and it's ok for me to learn about it. Really. My point is that lots of reports across Europe say the contrary. Maybe you and I could argue about who is right or wrong untill eternity but we don't want it because it's helpless.

My meaning is, if you are an usual VAG car user - wich I was - you must not let the impression that we accept a more or less enginered product into the market - even if your own car works perfect - because this is a weak signal send to the manufacturer in terms of customer habits.

I repeat, our problem, wich may not be absolutly the same in the UK, is that we CAN NOT RESELL these cars without legal implication if there is a situation with the DSG with the new user. And this, by Law. That's why we gather ourselves at first via Facebook.

In the end, it seems that these reports are not faked, aren't they ? http://www.dsgproblems.co.uk/index.php?board=2.0

  5. I agree. It's not relevant.

But the real issue here is not very much the climate but the fact that the weired noises coming from the DSG7 mecanism impeaches us to resell these cars properly due to french law restrictions (garantie des vices cachés).

Add to this the fact that there was no noises when we tried our cars before bying. If it did so, most of us wouldn't have bought it, I suppose. This is why VW is not professional in this matter when it says "noises are normal".
