  1. Heating them up is main thing you can use a hair dryer if you don’t have a heat gun, not too hot just enough to soften glue, they should pull off but you can use dental floss or fishing line to get them off
  2. I started with direnza springs and standard dampers but found the front too hard so I bought some front coilovers and kept the rear direnza -40mm springs and bought some stance lowering shocks. Sits just how I want it handles spot on and decent ride quality. as for de badging warmed them up with heat gun tar and glue remover on sticky left behind then buffed where they had been
  3. I’ve lowered mine 40mm on rear with springs and lowering dampers and coil overs on front 30mm, front splitter rear diffuser roof spoiler de badged, had a good spec from factory with sunset glass and 17” clubber alloys, also removed the center silencer remapped to around 140 hp had an mst induction kit fitted but removed it hot fed up with noise!
  4. No not that I know of still using e10 regular unleaded
  5. Never too old for a bit of tinkering, I’m in my 50s, it’s said to improve mpg not been out much to check it yet
  6. Just had my 1.2 tsi 110 estate mapped stage 1, which is 140 bhp and an extra 55nm torque, it’s a different car, smother great power delivery, had my polo tsi done years ago so it was a no brainer love it! Thanks to joe at project remaps West Yorkshire
  7. Cheers I never have much in it ever so that fine then👍🏻
  8. Having had direnza 30/40mm springs on my car for a few months I’ve put it back to standard as I missed the comfort, the car looked and handle brilliant but was a too firm, I hate how it looks so high so going to lower it again with eibach springs but the estate ones only come in 30/35mm could I fit hatchback 30/45mm to my estate, the weight difference isn’t much.

  10. they fit straight on offset is lower so fill arches better.
  11. yes they are a bit small especially when your 6ft and 17 stone! it drives great might fit some spotlights on it!
  12. Well I have sold the fabia and my mk2 escort to free up some cash for house move, so I have bought this little cheeky little number till I get sorted with house, there getting rare now and I have always liked the look of the sr model with its speedline alloys, tte spoiler and lower suspension as standard. I've had it a week and already done a bit of titivating: Oil&filter Air filter Fuel filter Plugs Fully undersealed Painted breaks Refurbed alloys New centre cap badges Full 2 stage buff and polish 2x tyres New wheel nuts and lockers Just got my son reproducing the decals for the rear quarters boot and bonnet as they have faded. Drives like a dream but wouldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding! Kept my bike but the drive is empty now!
  13. That's my se on auto trader, been getting offers of between £5k and £5.5k and mine is mint needs no money spending on it! May take 5.5k need it gone too many cars on drive.
