Hello. I’m thinking about buying a Kodiaq plug-in hybrid which has a top power output of just over 200BHP. What happens on a long journey to the power output? I presume I will need to run the car in hybrid mode but will there always be enough juice in the battery to always have 200BHP available? Often we go on holiday to the mountains where it’s not possible to charge, so I’m wondering if the car will always keep some reserve battery power to maintain 200BHP. What I’m worried about is that after some time it’ll revert to just using the 1.5TSI engine and only be able to produce 150BHP. Many thanks in advance for any advice on this!

Hello! Recently I noticed the rear, left-hand side under tray panel (just in front of the rear wheel arch) hanging off. It had come loose at one of the points at which it fixes to the underneath of the car and hung by the remaining points. By simply pushing it up, it seemed to click back into place and everything was fine. However, it keeps happening and I was wondering if it should actually be fixed by something more than what feels like a magnetic contact. Does anyone know how it should connect? I presume a screw and a washer should do the job - so I was wondering if anyone knows the right bore and length? Many thanks!

Hello everyone, I've just bought a new, secondhand Octavia III RS from 2014. It has ACC and Front Assist. I know the Front Assist works because the bloke selling it demonstrated it to me. However, when I picked the car up, whenever I try to turn Front Assist on (using the button on the end of the left-hand stalk, not the ACC one, the one for indicators), it says on the dash-screen: "Front Assist Unavailable". Any ideas what could be the cause? It's slightly different to what I've seen other people reporting as it's not a warning message and it only appears when I try to turn it on. I've read the manual and everything seems to be ok, including traction control being on. The only thing I can think of is that it had a service in between it being demonstrated to me and me actually picking the car up. I'm going to take it back to the garage tomorrow, but I just wanted to ask in case I'm doing something stupid? Many thanks!
