The trouble is it does do that... but only when you dont want it to as it is fairly sh!te on anything resembling tarmac... keeps you awake though I did want a defender but also wanted something cheep and a cheep defender is not a vehicle that you would want to do the crazy mileage we do in, and the old Jeep is fairly handy off road its also got the LSD in the rear which helps (as long as your prepared to go forwards that is) anyway John you b4stard that photo is making me pine for the Skud, hows your Diesel beast coming on?

Hi there long lost Briskoda bretherin of old. hope everyone is OK, its been a while since the demise of my skuds so i thought i would drop in and say hi (thats a shameless lie - I logged on to put a clasified on - you were all an afterthought - but a thought nonetheless) I finally replaced the skud and had a slight change of direction by buying a ten year OLD jeep cherokee :eek: yep a bit different from the Vrs's, but I wanted something built like a brick ****house that nobody would want to pinch!! it was also pretty cheep so am saving lots of money - although inkeeping with that old Briskoda ethic it didn't take long for the mods to start, these have taken a U-turn though and instead of making things lower I now want them higher, so on went some Cooper Suretrac tyres and some bigger suspension, I also couldn't help putting an induction kit on it but this will have to come off when I get the Snorkel. its a great laugh green laning and getting stuck, and it even made it up the rocksteps on Sarn Helen. but I still miss the Skud and don't think the jeep is the ideal track day weopon, (should have enough for a Fisher Fury by next year though ) C YA PS buy my stuff ya B4st4rd5

Sounds like the dealer is trying to sell you the car from stock that hasn't got cruise, as the others above my car has factory fitted cruise.

Is higher octane fuel not safer for turbo engines as it prevents knock? so even if performance had little gain it should be the choice for tuned performance turbo cars?

oh so much more than just a Bike. someone did a tuned up Honda sp superbike (can't remember the company now but it will come to me) and that was 18k ish a few years ago.

Jabba have a funky new coffee machine and a wide screen TV in the waiting room... **** the BHP figures so unless amd or whoever have got an instant mocachocalatte maker then its Jabba for me!!
