Sounds like the dealer is trying to sell you the car from stock that hasn't got cruise, as the others above my car has factory fitted cruise.

Is higher octane fuel not safer for turbo engines as it prevents knock? so even if performance had little gain it should be the choice for tuned performance turbo cars?

oh so much more than just a Bike. someone did a tuned up Honda sp superbike (can't remember the company now but it will come to me) and that was 18k ish a few years ago.

Jabba have a funky new coffee machine and a wide screen TV in the waiting room... **** the BHP figures so unless amd or whoever have got an instant mocachocalatte maker then its Jabba for me!!

Insurance costs for my Octy the insurance was around

In my Octy vRS i averaged 27mpg (over about 8000 miles) In my Fabia vRS I am currently averaging 35mpg (over about 1500 miles) but this is desceptive as my Fabia will do 50mpg and sometimes more than that on long trips (best yet is 59) where the Octy never got more than 34 over any distance. If you drive the Fabia like a **** it will be cr4p on gas just like an Octy vRS but when you want some economy its very good considering the performance, I have owned both and the Fabia is saving a shed load on fuel but I do a lot of miles per year. both cars had been to peterborough

yeah yeah..... I own a porsche gt3 in my head but they won't let ME in the owners club sod off for three days you peasant :P and in three days you can put your name on this list with all the other good Fabia gentry of the land and will become a fine fellow indeed

Just buy it!! I will let you know when its done. car still sounds rubbish cos its a diesel, blue flame sounds a bit different but not much......... but who cares cos it makes your car go quicker

oops I forgot to update my profile... yes I did have an Octy vRS but I stoved it into a barrier at 86mph so it was a bit of a mess. as a result of this I am now playing with the kids in my ikle Furby

Got...and put on my seat sport strut brace today... whent to have a little play... first impressions are pretty good... much more noticeable than first imagined.... car is now much more predictable I just can't wait untill my KW V2 turns up (should be very soon ) going to order the lower brace tomorrow aswell (unless I buy my minibike ) but now I wanna know what the score is with the anti roll bars... what if any is anyone running? what makes, were from and how much, is there one on the back?? are they making a difference thanks in advance Dan

are you local to Bewdley then Woody? The scorpian 4 looks like a right tool a friend took me out in his scorpian 3 wheeler and it was fantastic so lord only knows what this new one with an extra wheel is like. track and race car said it was mental

err.... I don't realy know m8 :confused: I never drove the car without it, and have not driven another fabia so comparison is impossible. car feels pretty good but it was allready mapped by jabba so it should feel fairly quick anyway. I should be in a position to throw you some figures soon as the car is due to be mapped again now the exhaust system is on, so I should have a comparison of a mapped car and a car mapped with full system, i will let you know when it's done. only thing I can tell you is that it looks very nice (single round tail pipe) have got strut brace and suspension to go on hopefully next week as well

yep but much more expensive? I could get the inteligent water spray for 120 ish from the australian suppliers and would just need to pay my dealer to fit (or be brave and diy it, presumably an FMIC would be big bucks? so I take it you think it would be worth taking some action on the I/C cooling?

I just bought the standard fabia roof rack from Skoda dealer, no probs with it at all. held 2 bikes on thule carriers very securely. went on easily and came off easily when I got back. I paid around 90 quid for the rack from my dealer. I initially whent to halfords to find a rack but nobody anywhere had the Fabia foot kits in stock!! not even there supliers!!

Modded Fabia vRS (blue flame full system + remap) is it worth getting I/C waterspray?? think I remember Ross mentioning high measured intake temps on modded PD engines?? my car deffinately has felt more sluggish on v hot days, but this could be my brain temp Thnx
