  1. I am sure your Police officer neighbour would appreciate you being as wary of their safety and their families as you are your own. It is massively irresponsible to identify a Police officer's home address, particularly to somebody you describe as a dodgy looking scrote in the company of two other scrotes.....
  2. As above, most likely an ABS sensor but will require VCDS scan to confirm.
  3. Thanks. Hopefully I won't be back in a few days asking for advice on how to remove the centre console!
  4. Thanks but doesn't appear as you describe. The switch is the same as this image and appears securely in place underneath.
  5. One of the heated seat switches has failed on my wife's Monte Carlo. I have managed to remove the gear lever gaiter and unclip the wires from the switch below but cannot then remove the actual switch. Any ideas?
  6. Likely an ABS sensor but will need to be scanned to determine which one.
  7. Just advertised my 2014 Superb L&K estate for sale in the cars for sale section if anybody is looking for one at the minute.
  8. I have run winter tyres on 8j x 18 ET 44 on my Superb estate for the past 3 winters. The inner rim is 4.3mm closer to the suspension strut and the outer rim is 8.3mm further out than before. I have had no issues with abnormal tyre wear in that time. Don't wish to start any form of argument - just giving the OP my own personal experience to assist their decision.
  9. The wheels you are looking at will sit 5mm further into the wheel arch, that is the only difference. www.willtheyfit.com allows you to put in different offsets, wheel/tyre sizes etc to see, surprisingly enough, if they'll fit.
  10. It couldn't be the ventilated seat fan that a passenger has caught the switch when getting in or out could it? This happened to me not long after getting the car and sent me mad trying to work out what it was!
  11. Sorry to hear of your problems. If it is a 150 it will likely be a mk3 so best posting in the superb 3 forum.
  12. https://m.aliexpress.com/item/2036956876.html?spm=a2g0n.orderlist-amp.item.2036956876&aff_trace_key=08ffc9ec689e4f3b97fa5f80417b241c-1539720545332-08757-UneMJZVf&aff_short_key=UneMJZVf&aff_platform=msite Pretty sure I got these after they were recommended by someone else on Briskoda. I've had them fitted over a year now and very impressed with them.
  13. You're looking at the similar item ebay found as the original listing has sold. Click on 'listing and you'll find the OP has bought a multifunctional wheel.
  14. I sorted this out on my mum's yeti a few weeks ago. The part was about £15.
  15. Many many thanks to yetiscot for travelling through treacherous conditions in order to not only deliver these to my stranded mum but also fit them in sub zero temperatures and other problem. A truly wonderful and kind man. Thank you
  16. Look on www.skodaparts.com and search for 'Fabia estate storage box'. Only £6.18 each on there brand new.
  17. I don't no, just the disc for the maps. Rustynuts is the oracle on firmware, if you ask him about firmware I'm sure he'll advise on whether you need an update and if so how to go about it.
  18. I have a genuine Skoda map DVD version 14 which I believe is still the latest version. You can have that for £25 delivered if that's any use?
  19. Search 'Skoda Twister alloy wheel' on eBay. You can get one brand new for £189.99 from Sandicliffe which is a Skoda main dealer. Show this your dealer and suggest they still pay their £180 and you pay the £9.99. I understand a lot of dealers have two prices for alloy wheels - one as an 'accessory' and one as a 'Part' but for exactly the same wheel one is twice the price of the other!
