  1. Could it be the fuel pump. I have much the same car and I think my fuel pump is on the way out.

    Tyre Time

I have to agree with dbg400. I ran Nokians on my last Yeti and miss them on the new one. I was very impressed and would recommend them. Coincidently, off to Finland in the morning!
  3. 6 months old. First trip was a 1300 miles visit to Scotland. My second Yeti - what a great car
  4. I've tried 3 different iPods they all stutter and this is whilst using the so called Skoda "iPod" USB cable. A guess a trip the dealer is called for.
  5. I have a 2016 110 SE 4x4 with the same problem I just thought it was an Apple 'thing' I would be interetsed to hear how you resolve this with the dealer.

    The Yeti Smile

I still smile every time I get into mine. Just taken delivery of number two. The FL version is different enough to be interesting and still all the car I need.
  7. Traded in my 2013 Yeti SE 110bhp 4x4 for a new FL model yesterday. Same model but with DAB radio this time. The first car had been great so I just wanted more of the same. I love the wheels and the sound system - shame there is not a CD drive this time but them I'm pretty old school. Got home and refitted all my bits and pieces - I even managed to fit my passenger side under-seat drawer in under 20 minutes!! I've only had it for 24 hours but very pleased with the slight changes (steering wheel etc). I don't have a spare wheel (and I don't want to open that can of worms), bottom line is that the boot space is small enough as it is (probably my only criticism of the car) so for me its a trade off between space and the hassle of a flat tyre. What did get for my first Yeti was a jack and wheel brace though. The Add-Blue tank now takes up that space where they were stored so you now get the 'gunk' and pump in a small bag which is located where the 'free' oil top up bag was placed in the boot. Has anyone got any (sensible) suggestions where I could locate the jack? Thanks.
  8. I replaced my original tyres with Nokian Weatherproof http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/accessories-tyres/92865/nokian-weatherproof-tyre-review Made a significant improvement in road noise and much better grip in wet weather. Sadly not had a chance to test them in snow this year. I would thoroughly recommend them.
  9. I just ordered a new Yeti (my second) and received an email from Skoda UK to thank me for the order with web links to a page called 'Building your Skoda'. Some interest information on the various factories. Within that page was a list of Skoda models, namely: http://www.skoda-auto.com/en/models/yeti-edition/ The Yeti Edition and the Yeti Joy http://www.skoda-auto.com/en/models/yeti-joy Any one got any idea what these are. I assume not for the UK market?
  10. Not in the UK but still in a Yeti. In Jyväskylä in central Finland this time last year with a reading of -22.5C. Glad I wasn't there this year as it was -27C! The Yeti coped very well - heated seats essential though!!
  11. Anyone else out there got one they don't need / want?
  12. In Finland they have a start date for studded and winter tyres. Its compulsory from 1st December to 28th February, although winter tyres without studs can now be used throughout the year. Interestingly the minimum tread must be 3mm. Studded winter tyres can be used from 1st November to 31 March (to get into the real detail - the Monday following Easter Monday if this is later than the end of March). The regulations can be extended if the weather remains bad. When I said in an earlier post I'd covered 37,555 miles on a set of Dunlop SP Sports, I meant 47,555!
  13. Just fitted Nokian Weatherproof tyres this week. Too early to tell what they will be like (seem much quieter) but the reviews convinced me and I've spent enough time in Finland to know that they make good tyres. They are replacing Dunlop SP Sport which covered 37,555 miles (mostly motorway in case you all think I am the new Captain Slow). I can't complain about the wear rate! I went for 'all season' after hearing news reports that we are in for a cold/harsh winter. Now I have them we are virtually guaranteed a mild one! Will let you know what the Nokians are like.
  14. Hi, I've jumped over from the Yeti Forum to ask you guys where the best deals are available from. I work with someone who wants to trade his Octavia Estate in for a new Superb. I'd be very grateful for any advise. Thanks
  15. It looks pretty good with the spare wheel on the back - a better option than one taking up space in the boot.
