  1. Ah ok - I thought it was set to toe out slightly, but if it's 0 then that's good for me. Cheers!
  2. I need to do the same to my projectors, as the bowls have completely failed. Out of interest, what was the cost for re-plating them? My second option is instead of replacing the bowls, to custom fit some mini h1 bixenon units - the standard lens size appears to be 2.5" so should in theory work with some minor modification.
  3. Hi, Not posted in quite a while but... I'm going to get wheels aligned by the garage when fitting new tyres this weekend. Recently I have fitted Cupra solid console bushes and powerflex purple front wishbone bushes. Will these affect the "target" for total toe setting, or will standard (iirc it's something like 2minutes?) toe be best? Cheers, Adam
  4. Was working on the car down the workshop yesterday evening and noticed a huge mark on my passenger side door from someone else's door. Happened at work, and I think I know who did it, but can't prove it. What do I do?
  5. Last night, but still counts right? Changed rear pads, and fitted a new CV boot - got a OEM from skoda, so should last longer than the rubber ones from the motor factors...
  6. Found the problem and now fixed. An AA battery was the culprit on this occasion!
  7. Anyone had this/know what would cause it? Not sure what has happened but I can't slide it, so can't undo the bolts!! HELP!!
  8. Don't suppose you have front mats do you? my driver side one has a hole in it...
  9. a picture of the carriages - With the opening date of May 31st 2013 - 2 years ago almost to the day!
  10. On my fabia I used a heat gun and a pry bar to push it back to shape - it was 99% better - not perfect but that was from a wall, not a branch!
  11. Could be one of them halfords parking sensor kits? If the owner didn't spec it from factory? http://www.amazon.co.uk/RTG-Rear-Numberplate-Parking-Sensors/dp/B008NA99T2
  12. Or she may be driving a punto, and unless it's a straight road on a cold day you'll either have overheating or a crash at the first corner.
  13. I'm going to say 6PM. We don't know the exact circumstances. It could be a 30mph limit and there might be a policeman there who has a problem with you driving at 80mph.
  14. Fixed my sticky handbrake with some springs on the rear calipers (mk1 Fabia vRS)... much better now once we'd worked out how they are supposed to be fitted!!
  15. supra running gear is capable of those figures, tried and tested
  16. Can't go wrong with Makita - Screwfix have a white one on offer for £120 or there is a Titan one for £50. SDS are pretty much exclusively wired, battery just can't provide the juice required at a consumer price.
  17. The difficulty will be the bumper and the washer jets won't it? Factory xenons come at a price too! Look forward to seeing this progress - you sure a bit of Tcut won't fix it?
  18. Just don't ever make eye contact with number 6 ever again... or his wife...
  19. Followed a FGF this morning on he south coast... Was a 1.4 16v with colour coded mirrors. Looked a bit sorry for itself with a broken rear light... Unfortunately it going at too much of a pace otherwise I'd have put a note on it. haha
  20. Drove it through some mud. Now it really needs a wash... Might get round to it this month. Don't think I've washed it this year yet...
