i get 47mpg on my 20 commute which is a mix of roads and heavy traffic

That price of yours does seem a tad expensive but they are quality cars despitet some people still having badge snobery

I removed the panel cover - scotch locked them, then cable tied them to the main wire loom running from the wiper motor and all seems fine

most fuel is used during the initial acceleration from lights,junctions etc until you get into top gear

I did an experiment in my car on my local part of the motorway - Did a 10 mile journey doing 55 mph and i got around 57 mpg - then i did the same journey doing a lot more if you know what i mean and I got 56 mpg. The saving didn.t seem to justify the boring journey and extra time taken

it was only done on my iphone ii will try and get a better one for you - the numbers are really sharp and it is not distracting as you do not need to take your eyes off the road by looking down at your speed

It is a close up - I know it looks like a giant reflection but the size is only about 3 incnes in the corner

it plugs straight into the obd2 port

Check a recent post i made as i have had a similar problem with my security nut and even skoda couldn't remove - I ended up going to a local garage who then tac welded a nut on and removed the bolts this way - they charged £20

Hi All

I bought the number plate kit from the ebay link on first page and as expected the error came on the dash, so then I purchased some load resistors which clip either side of the cables going into the lights and this worked

It was tricky to fit as the rear panel cover needed to come off. The whole job took about 20 mins but the lights look great

Hope this helps anyone

Taking it to a local garage who are going to tac weld a bolt on then remove the locking nuts - After that I will just use standard bolts - Lucky this happened on my drive rather than on the motorway or somewhere remote

Took the car to a skoda dealer today and they broke there master socket try to remove it - then they said they couldn't remove the bolt as it has been put on with an air gun - at least i got my car washed and hoovered by them

i have a 2010 vrs and the autolock feature had to be done by the dealership - they never charged me and it only took 15mins

Changing my wheels today and halfway through my locking wheel key has snapped inside - next door have a octavia but the key is a different star shape - Autocare said it will cost £50 to remove all 4

Any advice appreciated

I have a white octavia vrs estate - I want to buy a badgeless grill but unsure whether to colour code it white or gloss/matt black or even have it wrapped in carbon fibre to match the roof

Maybe if someone has some photos of there own to help me decide
