  1. Depends what your offset is, My current wheels are 19x8 et41 so sit 9mm further out that the BBS's and they could do with a small spacer at the rear so i've gone for a 15mm spacer for the rear and an 8mm at the front for the BBS's and will see how they look.
  2. I bought some new wheels that I've always wanted and they came up for a good price! Set of Genuine BBS CH 18x8 ET50 wheels with 225/40/18 tyres... I'm going to get some 235/40/18's and I've already ordered some spacers! Will get some more photos once tyres and spacers on!
  3. Has anybody else experienced this with their MK3? Front passenger side front interior door handles clicks when you release back into its resting position, drivers side and rear doors have a smooth action but it feels like something is catching before it reaches its home position. Took the car into my local dealer for an air con service today and asked them to have a look at it, they said there is nothing wrong with it as the handle is still functioning and they wouldnt be able to claim it as warranty work!! My car is 2014 VRS Tdi hatch.
  4. So I have for sale my big brake kit for a MK3 Octavia VRS (I believe it will also fit MK2 and a load of other VAG cars) I had the full intention of getting the callipers refurbished in Red and fitted to my MK3 VRS but the news that I will be a dad just after christmas have put all car related plans on hold! So the kit consists of the following: Vagbremtechnic Front Brake Adaption Kit - Allows Fitment of Audi TTRS Calipers to 340 or 345mm OE Discs - I bought this used with the description - "I have used this for a few months, excellent condition apart from a bit of surface rust on the head of the hex bolts (see photo)." https://www.awesomegti.com/shop-by-car/audi/a3-8p/vagbremtechnic-front-brake-adaption-kit-allows-fitment-of-audi-ttrs-calipers-to-340-or-345mm-oe-discs/ And a set of TTRS callipers with pads and all the gubbins they need! These are the later spec callipers with the mass dampers fitted to reduce squeal which these where renowned for on the TTRS! I'm after £600 for the lot collected from Crewe, I can post but have no idea how much it would be!
  5. Wheels are VW Motorsport wheels 19x8 et41, yeah got the splitter from online Autosport I think it was £180 ish. Really happy with it!
  6. I like the red and green stripe! New front splitter is on! Went for the Rieger lip in gloss black, I wasn't sure when I first offered it up to the car but its growing on me!
  7. Number 2 of my summer modifications is now on!

  9. I'll be doing the gear and handbrake gaiter as well as the arm rest! The seats are fine as they are! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  10. Yeah it alcantara! Retrimmed by royal steering wheels, very reasonable price, im curious to see how well it wears! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  11. It is round, I got my car before the flat bottom was standard fit. Personally I prefer round steering wheels! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  12. So this is the first of three summer modifications I have planned! Retrimmed standard wheel in alcantara with a white band at 12oclock! My inspiration was the new GTI clubsport wheel and I think it looks pretty good!
  13. 19x8 et41 VW Motorsport multispokes with 235/35/19 pilot super sport tyres
  14. Covered about a thousand miles this weekend over to Holland for a wedding and a few nights in Brugge! Car was faultless and returned 50mpg with 4 people and luggage! We didn't hang about either! Ended up on the chunnel in front of a yellow mk1 VRS! Tempted to get one as a run around in the next year or so, can't believe how cheap they are!!
