  1. Local dealer fixed it. Was not the same dealer as who supplied it.
  2. Kodiaq primary user issue. Had the vehicle into Horton Skoda, Lincoln with Lee Millington, and their was a confirmed fault. They fixed the fault, adapted the keys, set up the primary user, carried out account verification and also gave the vehicle a wash! Great service and FINALLY things a re working as they should.
  3. Did you ever get this resolved? I am having the exact issue.
  4. Have had to resort to emailing Skoda complaints - i am getting nowhere both online and at my local dealership.
  5. A week after receiving the Kodiaq: Still cannot set the primary user. Skoda customer services is pants, it takes a minimum of 48hrs for them to reply to any emails. The fixes they have sent have not worked and i have been advised to take the motor into my local dealership. 'Home' button - why does this take me to an option to add more widgets? I have to click home twice to go to the home screen. Have managed to get a stone chip in the windscreen already :( But the vehicle itself is very nice, loads of head turners, even though it is just a Skoda!
  6. Appreciate that, but you're a little too far away! I have found these 2 and just about to hit buy, which one though?! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SKODA-SUPERB-2008-2018-18-SPACE-SAVER-SPARE-WHEEL-TYRE-JACK-WHEEL-SPANNER/152420996415?hash=item237cffd53f:g:9UEAAOSwYlRZFM7r:rk:2:pf:0 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SKODA-SUPERB-New-Full-Size-Spare-Wheel-Tyre-16-Genuine-Jack-Wheel-Spanner/191880069912?hash=item2cacf18318:g:7LkAAOSwezVWvRDF:rk:17:pf:0 (if i can get it for £100 that is!)
  7. Nice find! Looking at my tyres, i am running on 225/40/18/Y/RNF - so is this suitable as a spare?
  8. Yes, my superb has 18" alloys, so that looks a good fit. I can get the official kit for £172, whereas the wheel shop it is £139 - anywhere cheaper or do you think that is the best price? Thanks for looking!
  9. I don't mind the space saver or a full size - i was just hoping for some recommended sellers/stores that people have used and would help keep costs down (i'm also worried i would buy the wrong kit!!).
  10. Hi all, 3 tyre blow outs due to Lincolnshire pot holes this year!! So i think it is time to invest in a spare wheel. Can anyone advise how best to acquire: http://www.skodaparts.com/product/superb-spare-wheel-2008-2015-33130 and http://www.skodaparts.com/product/superb-spare-wheel-tool-kit-2008-2015-33127 (Skoda Superb 2011 spare wheel and tool kit) I don't fancy nearly £200, any recommended sites/dealers or Fleabay?! Thank you x
  11. DGW - yes, 2 year cover; decent deal? You mentioned earlier about £600 for a decent deal. Aspman - this is for Extended Warranty and Skoda Assist from a Skoda dealer - not sure the levels of warranty you were offered.
  12. Spoke with my local dealer who offered the Extended Warranty and Skoda Assist for £579 - hope that's a good deal?!
  13. Had a look at Car Care Plan website and i cannot see anywhere that allows you to get a quote/enter mileage etc. Only options are a contcat number and 'contact us' form to fill in :(
  14. This was the response from my local Skoda dealer - so the general consensus is that i should sign up?!
  15. Thanks, I will drop Car Care Plan a line and ask them for some figures too. Thanks.
  16. Hey all, I received a letter from Skoda Customer Services advising me that my Skoda Assistance is due to expire soon and would i like to renew. I have spoken with John Good from Skoda Services who stated both my Warranty and Skoda Assistance expire soon and advised contacting my local dealer for quotes. My vehicle is a Skoda Superb and mileage is about 22k which is serviced and maintained by my local dealer. Before i contact them, does anyone have any figures as to what i should be expecting to pay for both the Warranty and Assistance please?
  17. oops, didn't mean it to be. Just a strange thing to ask with regards to all the other information posted. What has the distance of the car got to do with it? If i could have purchased closer i most certainly would have done. So apologies to poster!
  18. it was the best price for the spec. My local dealers were charging more for a same spec vehicle. To be honest though, people buy from all over the country these days, i've known people hop on trains to collect cars at the other end of the country - isn't that why autotrader was invented? To show what vehicles are available nationwide? Or are you saying it's now my fault because i didn't buy local?
  19. My experience: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/255554-skoda-managerceo-email-address/ Well i got my final reply from the franchise owner and they aren't prepared to do anything, even going as much to say that they wouldn't release a vehicle in the condition described even though i have sent photographs and had an estimate from another Skoda approved bodywork shop. The dealership was very good when trying to sell me the car, however, the first time i have asked for assistance they refuse point blank. I appreciate they have offered to look at the car for me, but only under their conditions ie return on a Friday only, leave the car with them for the day and they will not assist with fuel costs which is a 6 hour total journey to them and back. I was willing to do this on a weekend as work will not allow me time off during the week as we are very busy at the minute. To say i am disappointed is an understatement, this is the first time i went for Skoda as they made it sound very appealing - i will be looking to sell the car asap and go back to my trusted Ford Mondeo. I cannot recommend Skoda, especially the dealership: Simpsons Skoda Colne Boundary Garage Burnley Road Colne Lancashire United Kingdom BB8 8LF http://www.simpsonsskoda.co.uk/

  21. thanks for that. Well an update, this is the email/letter i have sent to Skoda UK who have been helping with my complaint. I sent it yesterday, so will report back when i get a reply:
  22. umbrella arrived yesterday - brand new and sealed - yey!
  23. Just had an email from the dealership to inform me they are sending me an umbrella! I've told them i am happy NOT to receive the radio code, but here is still the issue of the paintwork. Fingers crossed.
  24. I emailed Skoda over the weekend and got a call back yesterday. Skoda stated they had contacted the dealership and requested they call me back and offer their final stance on what, if anything, they propose to do. Once we/i know that final stance i will be able to decide on a course of action, but all this "we will get back to you" and the calls never came has dragged this out for much longer than necessary! Skoda also gave me the dealerships MD's email address and suggested i inform them of what has gone on. Not the best experience considering the only reason i went with Skoda was because of the supposed fantastic customer service!
