I thought in Sweden you were required by law to have front and rear lights on, with DRL's on, and am i wrong? i often am.
Has the car been into the Dealership for any work, or has this just come to your attention out of the blue?
Sorry i know nothing about Monte Carlos.
nope, We are allowed to only use the DRLs
And yes the car has been to the dealer for the 60k km service including reconnecting the boot light Last monday,
Wich the garage sort of "****ed up" by over tightening the lid for the oil filter so pretty much all oil went on the ground after I got to the store on the way home,
Got towed to a closer garage wich the ones that had done the service sent over a technician so that I could get my car back the same day. Got a little compensation for that,
Exterior and interior refurbishing.
After that I went to see my relatives (tuesday-friday) and pretty much didn't use the car except for the trip there and home,
noticed the lights today when i was going shopping and getting a trailer
Been on the phone today and mentioned the thing with my lights, wich they're gonna look into when my car gets the refurbishing.

Hi when the light knob is on 0 and I turn on the Ignition usually only the DRL is lit up but now the front sidelights, taillights and the electrical to the hitch is active,
Any Idea of what it could be?

Happy enough really, just not a Skoda Fanboy.
Are you getting one of these rather than a Rapid,
any Factory Discount for promoting them?
I´d rather get the fabia estate than the rapid.

Xenon headlights again or still as the mk2?

If my memory is correct the octavia satnav doesn't fit in the fabia. Different outer edges.
-
The most simple way would to remove a silencer.
Or you could get another catback exhaust system.

SMO, Svensk Motoroptimering, did great job with my mates Ibiza. Same engine I think. Just in case you change your mind.
Cheers
Psst, the mods don't like when we use foreign languages.
I know, Just a slight tease :P Got other things to spend money on. Only had the car since september

Greetings and salutations, fellow countryman!
Nice car btw. Been thinking about a Fabia Combi as well. I kinda miss the fuel consumption from my Skoda days. That 1.6TDI you have supposedly does 130bhp remapped, haven't decided on an engine though.
yup Kollat in omappning fast jag avvaktar med det.

The top part with the badge is much easier to change than the lower grille trim.
Yup, And one is on its way to me now

bought a whole grille but without the bonnet piece from a junkyard.
Gonna order a bonnet piece with the new emblem when my Skoda dealer opens agan after the weekend.
Sounds a bit safer if i want to switch between a crome grille and a black grille without braking anything

Looks pretty good at least on the side view of the car.
Wanna see the estate to

Good looking rims.

It's not the one in my golf?
Don't know. pretty sure it is the same base engine. but in the polo picture it's pretty much identical to my fabia except for the gray engine cover
-
Egr cooler?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
apparently an oil cooler after some side investigation :s

^^^^ lol , isn't it something to do with exhaust, and that's not like my golf 1.6 crtdi ? Is it a 2.0 ? Mk6 or 7
It.s an VAG 1.6TDI engine that is in at least the polo and my fabia

^^^^ lol , isn't it something to do with exhaust
exhaust is in the back of the engine and I think that there are hoses connected to it

Can't help, but triangles have 3 sides - that's a square.

I'm using my Xperia Acro S with the BT. No problem with phone talking and streaming music, Altough if I want to change the tune on spotify I have to pick the phone up instead of using the controls on my steering wheel

looks like it now when i did some picture searching.

I just got my Facelift fabia Combi with the monte carlo headlights and when i was looking at the front lower grille I found a Cable with a connector that wasn't really connected to anything.
It rests at the right side (standing infront of the car) behind the lower grille.
Anybody got an idea of what it's for?
ps sorry in advance for any misspelling.
I'm Swedish

differences in monte carlo trim between hatchback and combi
in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Posted
Just wondering if the only difference between the monte carlo hatchback and combi is the trim for the rear bumper or if the side skirts etc are different as well?
And I wonder if anyone got the parts number for the trim parts for the Combi version of the monte carlo,
