  1. My insurers gave me a discount for having a remap! I'm with Flux.
  2. I've had mine remapped at R-Tech. It's fantastic I'd highly recommend you have your map. The engine is smoother, more powerful and more responsive.
  3. Fixed! I cut open the ski bag and opened the boot with an umbrella!
  4. My boot wouldn't lock so I went about replacing the boot latch. Tested by opening and closing twice and was fine but on the 3rd test it wouldn't open with the fob or key. I assume the cable has popped out of the latch. What can I do apart from cutting a hole in the bootlid?
  5. I'm up for meeting at the Ace Cafe, that's the one near stonebridge right?
  6. Can't wait to have mine done next saturday How's the economy now?
  7. I know someone who had an automatic A4 with this engine. 40 average and 45 max he was reporting. If you want economy get a PD130, I'm getting average of 50 and I drive around london alot.
  8. That is a ukdm DC2 and that was registered in 2000. Production halted in 2000 iirc.
  9. Integra Type-R would get you just in class C. I can't think of anything in that class that would even touch it. http://classifieds.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/honda/integra/honda-integra-type-r-dc2-uk-a-c--alarm/846771
  10. I bought mine on amazon for £118, I haven't had chance to try it out yet because my gps antenna is broken!
  11. He's talking crap. The 2.0 16v TDi with the issues was fitted to many VAG cars. There is a reason PD140s are so easy to find for sale! I had to go on a mission to find a PD130 in the spec I wanted but it's nice to safe in the knowledge the engine should be pretty bombproof. If you ask him to check the V5 it's a 1.9tdi if it says 1896cc.
  12. Okay I've removed the unit and I can see the radio antenna connected but the gps antenna appears to be disconnected and I cannot find it's cable behind the unit. The connector I assume is the GPS antenna connector is next to the radio antenna connection at the bottom right of the unit. I purchased this antenna but the connection does not lock onto the connector so I assume I need to get a new connector and solder it on. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B008UZ0QQU/ref=pe_217191_31005151_3p_dp_1 Anyone know what the connector type is?
  13. I'm going to have my Skoda Superb 1 PD130 1.9 TDI remapped by R-Tech in 2 weeks. I can report back once I've had it done.
  14. Yeah I'm going to push a little cable up the front ones tonight. Any idea where the rears exit?
  15. I squeezed the sunroof drain tube and lots drained out so panic over fingers crossed!
