My insurers gave me a discount for having a remap! I'm with Flux.

I've had mine remapped at R-Tech. It's fantastic I'd highly recommend you have your map. The engine is smoother, more powerful and more responsive.

Anyone got a 2.5 TDI Elegance 160? Is 35mpg right?
m0gsi replied to devilman9050's topic in Skoda Superb Mk I (2001-2008)
I know someone who had an automatic A4 with this engine. 40 average and 45 max he was reporting. If you want economy get a PD130, I'm getting average of 50 and I drive around london alot. -
That is a ukdm DC2 and that was registered in 2000. Production halted in 2000 iirc.

Integra Type-R would get you just in class C. I can't think of anything in that class that would even touch it. http://classifieds.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/honda/integra/honda-integra-type-r-dc2-uk-a-c--alarm/846771

Heres what a Garage owner told me!? (2.0 TDI)
m0gsi replied to iwannasuperb's topic in Skoda Superb Mk I (2001-2008)
He's talking crap. The 2.0 16v TDi with the issues was fitted to many VAG cars. There is a reason PD140s are so easy to find for sale! I had to go on a mission to find a PD130 in the spec I wanted but it's nice to safe in the knowledge the engine should be pretty bombproof. If you ask him to check the V5 it's a 1.9tdi if it says 1896cc. -
Okay I've removed the unit and I can see the radio antenna connected but the gps antenna appears to be disconnected and I cannot find it's cable behind the unit. The connector I assume is the GPS antenna connector is next to the radio antenna connection at the bottom right of the unit. I purchased this antenna but the connection does not lock onto the connector so I assume I need to get a new connector and solder it on. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B008UZ0QQU/ref=pe_217191_31005151_3p_dp_1 Anyone know what the connector type is?

Check the parking sensors and navigation work as they should. Check the footwells for signs of water ingress (search on forum) -
'Water Ingress Problem'........SOLVED!
m0gsi replied to Baker21's topic in Skoda Superb Mk I (2001-2008)
Quite possibly the bonnet release cable grommit, it's to the left of the big box of electronics in the plenum chamber. -
It sounds as if the hose that is swells is perished. I'd replace this hose and use good quality clamps/clips to keep this hose on.
-
Haha no it's still quite a job! I'm tempted to just stick a cheap GPS antenna behind the glovebox and see how that goes but I'm waiting for my release keys to arrive.
-
Do you have to drop the headlining to access the bolt?
-
Has anyone removed the aerial on their superb? I'm hoping it just pops off with a screwdriver but I'm worried about breaking something if this isn't the case. Vagcom is showing a shortcircuit on the GPS antenna so I'm assuming this is the best place to start.

Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tele-Atlas-Irland-TravelPilot-Multimedia/dp/B008DCWQFO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1348645955&sr=8-1 It hasn't arrived yet but I will report back when it get it! Yeah I think I should make a project thread and post in there. I think a buyers guide should be a bit better formatted than this!
