  1. Ok so you think it'll be safe sitting under there til I can get it on ramps?
  2. It's the screwdriver that fell would it cause damage? Can't get under to remove the tray at the moment
  3. I've just fitted the dtuk box , and as I was fitting the torx I dropped a screwdriver down the engine bay. I can't see it but I'm sure it hit the bottom, yet I can't find it. I'm scared to drive the car as urgently need to go out. If it hit the bottom tray would it be ok to drive?
  4. It's not, there was a non VRS octavia in my local dealership on Friday
  5. Does anyone have any good recommendations for insurance companies? Renewal time and i'm unsure if Briskoda members will get a good deal anywhere? 28 year old with 2014 Occy Vrs
  6. They said there wasn't an issue with it . Just assume it's normal to be honest still drives like new
  7. Morning guys, I've decided I'd like to add the black pack (mirrors and grille surround) to my 2014 Rallyee Green VRS. Does anyone know where to source the parts? Can I buy them from Skoda direct? And are the mirrors and grille surround easy to fit? Is there anything I've missed from the black pack? Your answers would be great . Many thanks
  8. Yes they change colour . Should the radio surround glow green ? But noticeable ? Mine really isn't :( Haven't had chance to look at the fuses yet .. Just seems odd. Goes into Skoda with one problem, they do a full health check then this happens
  9. Ok will check fuses. Should the green be noticeable on the radio surround ? And should the traction control button glow orange when deactivated? I'm sure it did before
  10. Afternoon all, The car is a 2014 Vrs tdi My lights are always on the 'auto' position, but on Friday they stopped working ? It started to rain and went quite dark so I thought the auto lights would come on, but nothing happened. I then switched them to the on position manually and they weren't working. I restarted the car several times and after another 5 minutes of driving it seemed to work. But what I've noticed is the buttons for the radio seem quite dim now? I'm sure they usually illuminate quite a bright green but I struggle to see it now unless I block the sunlight out. Also, the traction control button doesn't then orange when it's deactivated ? I'm sure it went orange before when I turned it off? Has anyone else had this ?
  11. UPDATE - The dealers are telling me they can't hear anything. The noise happens every morning without fail and they are saying that the technician fails to hear any noise at all? That noise to me is obvious and isn't normal.
  12. I do a 35 mile motorway run to work and reach 70mpg (this is in a 50 roadworks area)
  13. Here is another clip to see how loud it is ; https://vid.me/e/ZwbL (Yes I know it's ticking/tapping and is booked in on the 23rd for this issue)
  14. Yeah 2014 Could someone please video the sound of theirs so I can compare? mine is rather loud :( runs fine though! but just seems too loud. I have the car booked in for the 23rd for a tapping noise on start up, so will bring this loud engine noise up
