Hey everyone!! not long on this, have a f/l octy vrs and a friend of mines son done a photoshoot of her about a month back and i would love to upload the photos to show everyone the car and to showcase this young mans talent and potential!!! could anyone explain to me in very simple language how to upload them! and yes i am on flickr!!!!

bought my first vrs at 21 and just bought my 2nd vrs bout 8 months back and im now 22!! got some abuse about it being a family car, but when they sit in,look at the spec,interior and when the shoe goes to the floor the opinions quickly change!!! call them a sleeper for the uneducated and badge snobs! ;-)

No black wheels, everyone and his dog has done that. Mine has been lowered around 45-50mm which is most likely too low for some folk (yes it does scrape some places and getting onto 4 poster ramps is a no no) and a set of nice wheels.
To me is all about the wheels, nothing TSW or Fox race ect ect something euro and subtle to a certain degree.
Brows, no. Like said it makes a pre FL look like its got lazy eyes and to me look like its stoned.
Nothing to me looks better then lowered, nice set of alloys and had a good detail.
I \agree with the lowering bit but i dunno bout the eyelids they are sorta growing on me!! maybe im wierd but i think they sorta suit the look of them if they were lowered!! obviously iwouldnt be getting an extreme eyelid by that i mean going down into the headlight!!
Is your girl lowered on springs or coilovers?? did it affect the ride comfort of your car???

This happened to my old vrs after the main dealers had replaced the injectors through a skoda recall, turns out that when they put in the injectors that they wrecked an injector seal when installing the replacement injectors, in turn as the injector was replaced and driven on a broken seal, it blew the air inlet manifold and another couple of bits and bobs,
After bout 3 weeks of having it out with the main dealer they eventually admitted to making a balls of the job and replaced everything. The point im trying to make of they start messing you round stick your heals in and get it sorted!!!

Just after reading this thread from start to finish!
All i can say is WOW WOW WOW! What a car, genuinely love every detail of her, the eyelids, the bmw rims, the boot spoiler, interior, the f/l conversion,new badges, etc etc the list goes on!!
The time and dedication that has gone into this car is unbelieveable, i hope your proud of what you have acheived, cos shes one in a mllion!
Even the photography is beautifully done, particularly love the filling station ones!!

Lowering 40mm is a significant drop.
Most spring kits wont go that low so you'd be looking at coilovers i'd expect, although H&R do a "comfort" cup kit that's listed as -50mm (so would lower a vRS about 35mm).
Not a fan of eyebrows personally, well not on cars anyway..
My old car ran lower than the current one, very good ride comfort on weitec coilovers:

Hi guys,
have a candy white vrs on the 18"neptunes, i got the back 3 qindows tinted from new, not the factory job as my salesman advised against it!! its done in a 'medium' tint!
Anyway i am wondering would a set of eyelids suit the car! if anybody would be so kind as to post up a pic of their pride and joy with them i'd be chuffed!!
Also i would like to lower the car slightly just to give it more of an agressive look, maybe 35-40 mm,but i dont really want to lose the comfort ffactor of the car!! anh suggestions,tips??

Right here it is. Not 100% sure about it but it looks ok so far. I'm sure something else will finish it off..
perhaps a wrap on the boot spoiler and roof even to finish it????
