Surely if you've read that you can do this you must have seen warnings that this would happen?? Of course the light is going to come on. the engine thinks its broken. you can either live with it and enjoy your extra 1900 bhp from your non working egr Plug it back in and after a while the light will go off again. get the engine management light mapped out.

I have no mirrors or indicators or rear subframe or passenger pegs on mine - its how they came from factory! I don't mind the indicators that much but I will be installing at least one mirror. Might stop my head twisting like an owl when I'm out and about. *I should mention mine is a dirtbike and spends most of the time off roading, where these novelties aren't necessary.

I'm back on two wheels!! Picked up my 2004 Suzuki DR-Z 400 E yesterday, only 3424 miles on the clock! it's a greenlane bike but has spent most of its life garaged unused, hence the mileage. I paid £1700 for it which is a great price? although she requires mot and tax. (not a problem for me). Does anyone know anything about DR-Z Enduro edition? basically its a hardcore version of the road going drz. The E comes with a much much better carb, more aggressive cam, higher compression, thicker suspension, no rear subframe and minimal electrics. Although she does have that important electric start! I know im waffling but im really excited and happy with her and can't wait to give her a good riding!! Including talon hubs and excel rims. and a full crd exhaust system
