  1. Hi mate, Do you have the rear brake setup? Is it in usable condition? Cheers
  2. Surely if you've read that you can do this you must have seen warnings that this would happen?? Of course the light is going to come on. the engine thinks its broken. you can either live with it and enjoy your extra 1900 bhp from your non working egr Plug it back in and after a while the light will go off again. get the engine management light mapped out.
  3. I have no mirrors or indicators or rear subframe or passenger pegs on mine - its how they came from factory! I don't mind the indicators that much but I will be installing at least one mirror. Might stop my head twisting like an owl when I'm out and about. *I should mention mine is a dirtbike and spends most of the time off roading, where these novelties aren't necessary.
  4. I'm tired of my missus putting her phone and keys in her GIANT handbag and then claiming to have lost her phone about 20 times a day!! Just put it in your ****in pocket!! I spend half my life stood by the front door or the car while she rummages like a hobo through her tardis bag AAARGHGGGGGGHHGHH
  5. Hankook Ventus* I forget the names. good tyres fair price too.
  6. definitely a scam. My friend had a similar thing. the guy claimed to work on an oil rig and said he would send twice the value of the item and asked him to pay for shipping etc. SCUMBAGS
  7. I'm back on two wheels!! Picked up my 2004 Suzuki DR-Z 400 E yesterday, only 3424 miles on the clock! it's a greenlane bike but has spent most of its life garaged unused, hence the mileage. I paid £1700 for it which is a great price? although she requires mot and tax. (not a problem for me). Does anyone know anything about DR-Z Enduro edition? basically its a hardcore version of the road going drz. The E comes with a much much better carb, more aggressive cam, higher compression, thicker suspension, no rear subframe and minimal electrics. Although she does have that important electric start! I know im waffling but im really excited and happy with her and can't wait to give her a good riding!! [/uRL] Me and the wife gave it a good clean today, the fairings are scuffed but the bike itself is in great condition. The previous owner spent LOTS on trick bits. Including talon hubs and excel rims. and a full crd exhaust system
  8. What's more tragic. Him fueling his supercar with standard fuel or filling a skoda with V-power?..
  9. Anyone fancy an R8 with the v10 or v12 tdi engine?
  10. yingyangwangalangs! I think he teaches me calculus.
  11. moar power is better surely? lol.
  12. I'm exactly the same. Yes the engine doesn't rock about quite so much. But at what cost!!!
  13. Just put a standard one in. Literally noticed nothing but horrible anti mother in law vibrations. All chat about snappy gear changes and tighter driving is rubbish spouted by those who won't admit they spunked £30 on a bit of pink rubber because it says POWERRR on it. //rant lol.
  14. I know it's relatively off topic and I know they aren't 'that quick' but that got to be one of the best sounding engines ever made. long live the B16b.
  15. Good to see somebody doing it properly. Most have to made do with budgets which restrict the top shelf goodies. As for decat there is mixed opinion. I'd say definitely simply as it lets you hear the turbo better which is nice*. Some say it aids the turbo spool time I'd say its more the sound that gives you that feeling. Plus i'm sure ive read the as the turbo is variable vein it cannot 'spool quicker'. Decat is a nice mod though and I have a piper one coupled to a standard catback system.
  16. Lol we seem to be having two convos! I've posted my thoughts in your other thread..
  17. It's going to be like a new car! Very nice. Personally I think after that lot you should prepare to uprate the brakes, 312mm octy vrs ones. maybe a decat to add a little whistle to the sound. And then coilovers or perhaps a nice shock and spring combo. I'm getting a bit bored of stiff coilovers. Part of me wishes i'd opted for a nice shock and spring setup.
