Hi' folks i have a problem with my rear wiper motor it started off with the front wipers stopping on the front screen then when i engage the rear wiper the front wipers start working again then again stop. I replaced the relay now the front wipers stay on when i put ignition on and will only stop when i engage the rear wiper then the front wipers swipe 3 times then rest. Now i have replaced the rear wiper motor because when i take the plug out of the rear wiper motor the front wipers work fine. What's happening now is when i turn the ignition on the front wipers are now swiping 3 times then rest i have returned the rear motor which is a non branded motor from ebay has anyone had this problem. I don’t know if anyone has had this problem god it just has to happen to me, i bought new anti roll barr bushes from the motor factors. When putting them on i noticed that the bush were it splits was not split at the flat part like it should but split on the curve so when i tightened up the bracket theres a 5mm gap and its slightly twisted they cannot be the right ones

Hi thanks for the reply’s i found out what the problem was after bleeding the 4 wheels and still getting a spongy pedal all i needed to sort it was to bleed the master cylinder and pedal great now. But not thanks to the **** that i got to do my rear calliper carriers and callipers,he never had a clue what he was doing. He was trying to just get away with bleeding the rear callipers he was outside for 4 hours and the air was getting through the master cylinder. I should have do them my self the first place.

I have just replaced my rear callipers and carriers on my octavia mk1 tdi 2008. After bleeding each wheel several times the appropriate way with no are at each wheel the pedals still travelling and spongy i have read you might need vcds to fix it does anyone local in glasgow that would be kind enough to help me.

The front discs are 280mm and the rear discs are 232mm which are the same as mine

I have a chance of buying brembo discs and pads for my octavia mk1 1.9 tdi but there for a golf mk4 will they fit? Its says skoda on the boxes but i know there are variables with brakes

Just priced the small cable that connects to the door lock i nearly died £16 it nearly costs the same price as the whole lock I have just bought. Has anyone bought one of these for a better price than that.
