Does mk4 golf brembo discs and pads fit the octavia mk1

Featured Replies

I have a chance of buying brembo discs and pads for my octavia mk1 1.9 tdi but there for a golf mk4 will they fit? Its says skoda on the boxes but i know there are variables with brakes

If the diameter and thickness matches the discs you currently have then yes.

It depends on which Mk4 they're for.    GTI, for example came with 312 mm discs. I think that also applied to GT 130 TDI and GT150 TDI.  Lesser models had 288 mm, if I remember correctly.

You need to know the diameter of the discs on your car and match those.

No idea. The brake rotor size and calliper/pad type for an Octavia TDi varies with the age and engine tune of the car, so we need more information.

The front discs are 280mm and the rear discs are 232mm which are the same as mine

That size VW (or Audi or Seat) discs will fit provided they have a 5x100 PCD then. Been there, done that...
