Disappointed no suggestions but for possible interest of others it was eventually found to be a failing coil - spark in the air but not always under pressure until it failed completely. -

This subject came up once before. The new thermostats don't seal properly and you need to use a bit of instant gasket. This solved it for me. -
We have a strange fault with out Fun. Twice now, after parking it would not start but did start hours or a day later. Once we had only stopped for petrol and once we returned home and parked overnight. There appeared to be a spark. For weeks in between it behaved normally. Any ideas?

I have a sunroof but am rather a long way from Southampton. -
I still have available:- Both rear doors; front light units complete; rear light units (no bulbs); rear seat belts; electric mirrors; front bumper; rear bumper; sun roof; passenger air bag.

Yes, it had a front ARB but I didn't save the subframe and wishbones when the shell went for scrap.

Sorry to be slow in responding. Haven't got the main engine bracket. I presume the mirrors would fit if yours are electric.

The stub axles have gone.

The sun roof is off now (actually very easy when you know how), £10 collect only. Still several parts available. The body shell will be going to the scrap merchants unless somebody wants it.

Yes, it has a sunroof but I haven't worked out how to remove it! Do you know? The power steering bits have gone. The cills look good as it is low mileage but I am not into cutting the shell up at the moment.

I have attached a picture showing the grill - appears to be approx rectangular and chrome edge. It does not have central locking. It was a 1600 with 38000 miles but the engine has gone.

Yes the fog lights are available at £5 each (and the bumper at £1). I can take a photo tomorrow and send to you but will need your email.

The rear seats are available at £5 and the bonnet can now come off - £1. Ask if there is something you want/need

Can't post the items mentioned, most are really too big while I think an air bag would be viewed as dangerous. Can post smaller items. What did you want?

Hello Our Skoda is a Felicia Fun which we believe lives up to its name. It is actually a more "sensible" vehicle than the kit cars we have.

Fun Truck Register

Hi, I'm new here having just bought a Fun with truckman top with windows. Registered Oct 99 so V. Done 80,000 miles. The mechanics have been gone over and anything needed doing done so now turning attention to any bodywork and interior faults. It is replacing a Caddy pickup. We have 4 kit cars but nothing with 4 seats for conveniently taking the grandchildren.
