  1. That's a shame, thanks for confirming. Looks like I might have to consider a lane assist/traffic sign recognition retrofit!
  2. Hi everyone, I'm trying to find out if its possible to get the speed limit information from the nav system to display on the dash/maxidot? I don't have traffic sign recognition, but the nav system has speed limit information, so can this be displayed on the dash? Ideally I'd like this all the time, but even if I have to use the nav and set a destination. Any help really appreciated. I have a Amundsen MIB2.5. Thanks!
  3. Hi, I'm looking for some help with correct tyre pressure settings for my 2019 SE Technology 1.5 TSI with 215/55/R17 tyres., which I have just purchased. It was registered in late December 2018, but all the detail I can find tell me it is a 2019 model. There is no tyre pressure sticker on the inside petrol cap door, which I believe should be the normal location. And on the drivers door pillar there is just a sticker advising to set the TPMS once you've adjusted pressures - but no pressure info. I have emailed Skoda and they advised 2.2/2.3 bar (front/back) standard, and 2.5/3.3 for full load, but this seems low compared to other information I've seen suggesting 2.5 or 2.6 for standard. Is anyone able to help confirm, either from their car of the same model/tyre size, or a service manual or similar? Thanks!
  4. Hi, Can anyone help with information on any update available for my device pleaase.... Device part number: 5Q0035874C Hardware: H41 Software: 0472 Thanks in advance
  5. Thanks all for the feedback. I can only assume the equipment was set-up correctly, it was at a local independent place with a good reputation. I'll monitor the wear and see how it goes.
  6. Sorry guys, it looks like i messed up and read the read-out wrong, so its the toe rather than the camber that is out. Measurements are in mm, all positive. It's done just under 24k. Should I be worried about this, if it's the toe rather than camber? Thanks for your help.
  7. Thanks for the info/advice FabiaGonzales. I had 4 wheel alignment checked as a precaution, as we only got it recently - not had it long enough to observe any wear (the tyres are all new). The rear drivers side is out a bit. The range is 1.6 to 0.5mm, it is 0.1mm, the other side is at 1.2mm, so pretty much bang on. Should I be concerned about this and get the axle and bushes checked? or perhaps leave it and observe wear over time? Thanks
  8. Hi, I've been a long time Skoda owner (Superb II), but have just purchased a 2015 Fabia (1.2 TSi SE) for my wife. Does anyone know if the rear camber is adjustable on these Mk3 Fabias? Thanks in advance
  9. yup, I've been through all of the menus with a fine tooth-comb and I have nothing in any of them for media player pairing. Is this likely to be an issue with the bluetooth module? or could it be something else canbus or the Columbus? Thanks
  10. I need some help please, I have a Columbus with 3C8035730C bluetooth module in my 2009 Superb. I don't see the additional bluetooth media pairing in the MFD and the bluetooth option is greyed out on the Columbus. From everything I've read I though the 3C8035730C should support A2DP. Has anyone seen this or know what might be wrong? Thanks
  11. Apologies for not replying sooner, for some reason I did't get an email notification when you posted. I'm not sure about reading the speed/direction from the CANbus - I will need to test it when I can, next time I go through a long tunnel I suspect! The unit comes with a separate GPS antenna, but I found an adapter for the built in one and that works great (I didn't fancy wiring in a new antenna). The remote audio steering controls all work, volume up/down, mute, track skipping etc. Phone controls work as well, although not quite as slick as the old built in bluetooth integration - but I think that is to be expected. For nav/maps I have a number of apps, Google maps is great, but as you say you need data - I tether my phone (the unit has wifi) and have unlimited data, so it works great, so long as you have signal/coverage. I also have NavMii and CoPilot, both allow map downloads for offline use. NavMii is free, with some cheap in-app purchases for upgrades like additional voices, traffic, etc. CoPilot is about £20 I think (bought it a couple of years ago to use on my phone), but works great. Hope that all helps. If I get a chance to test the nav in a tunnel I will let you know if it works.
  12. I've recently replaced the Columbus in my '09 Superb with an android unit from a company called Joying. I don't have the time to write a full review at the moment, but happy to try and answer any questions if anyone else is thinking about doing the same. Especially as I found information very sketchy when I was researching before I took the plunge. Overall I am very happy with it, but it is not something to do if you're expecting a straight forward plug and play - you need to do a some tinkering and there are some compromises to make.
  13. Hi All, Looking for some help please getting through the minefield of hardware/software/map versions. My Columbus unit (in a 2009 Superb II) currently has the following: Delivery Part Number: 3T0035680B HW Version: H11 SW Version: 3814 Map Version 7920 I'd like to upgrade to v11 maps, are v11 support by my current software version? What is the newest recommended version of software if I was to upgrade that? Thanks in advance.
