An intermittent fault with the safety lock or the anti-hijack? Tracing intermittent electrical faults can be a 'mare!

na its not electrical, everything is clunk-clicking and after 3-4 pulls it always opens its like the latch is just catching still...deffo a mechanical - latch related issue, just thought it might be something someone else has had, im reluctant to fetch the door card off without knowing what to look for.

I have a similar problem with one of my rear doors. unlock it and first pull it doesnt open, after that first pull its fine, opens every time the handle is pulled till I lock the car. When I unlock it again I have to pull the handle twice again. As I don't used the back doors myself I've never been bothered to look at the mechanism but it is annoying knowing the fault is there :thumbdwn:
