Noise, what noise said Skoda!

So, my Octy rs has been making a strange rattling noise lately. Two dealerships in the Belfast area told me that is was just normal opperating sounds, however i wasn't convinced. With my mid level engine knowledge i was fairly sure that it was coming from the top end of the block, and it was related to the cams/belts :eek:

Anyway, took the car to Telfords in Carlisle yesterday, and after a brief discussion we came to the conclusion that the water pump is on it's last legs :( . Moral of the story, always get a third opinion.
