dog bone mount.

Featured Replies

I have noticed a little more vibration on my octy since fitting a tuning box ,and i think the rear (dog bone )mount may be due for renewal.(112k).the engine has noticable movement when idling, but once driving its fine.Sometimes the gearchange can be a little stiff too.I dont want to fit an uprated bush ,just the standard one,so can anyone tell me how much they are ,and do you have to get them from deales or do gsf etc do them?

I think the dogbone complete has to be replaced, don't think you can buy bushes seperatley :thumbdwn:

S orry, I meant the whole mount. Any ideas on cost as they look fairly easy to fit.:o

You could try half a poly on there.

As they come in two halves, you could use just one of them. But to be honest you don't even notice the poly's after a few weeks. Although not sure about on a diesel engine which I would think vibrates a lot more.

edit.....just saw your other post forget what I said

This is correct, the original dogbone mount comes as a unit.

Think they are around £65,may be a little more.

Dead easy to fit.
