Fabia front electric window problem

The drivers door window on the wifes Fabia will go down, but won't come up. There is a clicking sound so something is slipping. I have removed the door card and removed the screws holding the steel plate to the door, but how can I remove this to access the glass & window mechanism? anyone else had this problem?
