Its that time of the year when all dads are selected by there tribe to organise the kids first camping disaster,so has any mark 1 octy estate owners have any advice on the best value roof rail bars and roof boxes and any photos of these box things in place.I suppose the old mpg may take a hit.Regards A8 dib dib:thumbup:

you can't go wrong with Thule Roof Bars, I can't comment on the roof box as I don't have one (yet) I will be borrowing my Dad's Thule Ski Roof box in a couple of months for my son's 1st camping trip.

I don't know who's looking forward to it most, me or them :D

Thule roof bars worked great for me (quick release type), havn't tried any cheaper ones yet. As for roof box the mid range branded ones dont seem much lighter any others so i bought cheap. Try to get the largest volume u can for the price, you will need it! Dont forget to only stick the really light stuff up in there, bedding etc. They really affect your handling.
