Cleaning your detailing stuff?

Featured Replies

I have as selection of detailing stuff that could do with a clean, but i have no ideal how to do it.

Micro fibre clothes

Megauires waffle weave cloth

wax applicators

wash mitts

Can i just stick these in the washing machine on a low temp with non bio powder or sure i be doing it another way?

Yeah mate stick them in the washing machine, but i would try to use liquid rather then powder i find they wash better, and dont use any frabic condition.

Stick them in the washer with white vinegar.

:eek::eek: You're not thinking of washing your car are you Jay?:eek::eek:

I was thinking the same TBH - you have to actually use them to get them dirty you know Jay! :P

I wash mine after each use - washmitt, MF, work towels etc - bung them all in at 40 with non-bio. Don't add any conditioner or anything either.

Tend to do PC pads and applicator pads separately, at same temp etc. And occassionally do a boil wash on my Water Magnet and other MFs/towels. I've found this increases their effectiveness/absorbancy again, especially in the case of the Water Magnet.
