CD Changer Wiring Question

I have had to remove my CD changer as the rear wash wipe hose had come off and soaked the connection.

What I noticed is that one of the wires, a yellow one, is not connected to the connection.

As far as I can see all the other pins in the connector have a wire comming out of the back. Is this wire used? Hope not as done want to have to get a new auto-changer.
