I've noticed a few threads about insuring remapped cars recently, so I thought I'd see how open to the idea my lot are. (RAC)

I asked them if they would consider insuring a remap on my 90bhp to 115bhp, so a pretty generic one. As I made it clear I just wanted to get a feel for costs and wasn't planning to actually do it any time soon, they didn't go into giving me an actual figure but said it'd be up to 20% more. Not too bad as my prem is currently £300 give or take...

Not bad at all, I only had to pay an admin fee of £30 IIRC
