Fabia 1400 16v cambelt change

Featured Replies

Have just taken ownership of a 2000 'X' plate fabia 1400.It's covered 69k and am wondering whether the cambelt should be done as it hasn't been changed at 60k.Is 60k the right interval??Also should i change the tensioners and pulleys when doing the belt??

Get the cambelts changed as soon as possible. Every 4 years or 60000 miles is a good rule of thumb. Definately get the tensioners and pulleys done and consider a water pump and coolant change at the same time.
