dielectric silicone grease for Cage Mod

Featured Replies

Guys,

sorry for dragging this one up again, I've searched through a few threads regarding this mod. I'm actually after which dielectric silicone grease is commonly used by Briskodians and where to get it from. Maplins only seem to supply an aerosol version.

Maplin do a tube if you go to the store.

thanks fatty, I'll take a wonder down there at the weekend, many thanks

Might be worth ringing your local branch to check it's in stock first.

Also good for lubing the door seals if you rub a small amount in to them, which reduces the creaking :)

Better get some for my wife then :D

To much info!!

Where is JR Hartly with his back door seals comment ;)

speaking of creaks, I have one coming from the rear passender side (no it's not the kids this time).

It's bl00dy annoying, and not obvious whether it's the seat, or something in or under the seat.

Anyone had this and if so any fix or idea? I thought it might be the leather rubbing against the door, but it's more rattly now....It's the vRS seats btw.

Trouble it's it only does it when driving and my legs aren't long enough to touch the pedals while sitting in the back :D

I also think rear wind noise has got worse recently. Anything around 70mph and it's apparent. Ordinarily I turn the radio up, but that's not an option when passengers are on board (they don't like my music!)

Maybe rattly seatbelt anchors?

My Mk1 had this problem.
