Just joined up after owning octavia vrs for bout month. Its silver on a Y and pretty much standard part from a dump valve.Got 64k on and only 1 elderly owner so imagine not been thrashed. also full service history but no timing belt so imagine this nd water pump on horison. Last car were a gt4, thanx **** on a1 for hitting me!, so power is about 100 bhp down but after getin used to it found to be a little flyer. Had a two week stint though of warning light coming & going. req'd MAF and lambda sensor (tip turned white summit a aint seen b4) Then the throttle body realigning. neva mind though

Fancying a remap, nd a think its an N75 valve but were wondering if the J onewould go on. Obv back to front. Any ideas from any1 else for bout 240 ish bhp appreciated.

Thanx

Welcolme mate, if you look around i think youll need to spend a bit to get 240bhp, 220 -230 is gettable with the k03s turbo any more n youll need to get a bigger one or if you get any more youll need a new one ne way when the std one pops lol

not got the n75J but am thinkin about it, a few ppl have them. first off get a rear ARB, a mus and for the money it is nothing, I have a whitline and was 140 ish and its ace, have a search n there is a few other options out there.

all the best mate

Cheers all. Thinking bout the ARB but before suspension comes bit more performance. Seems like a sailor lost at sea but seen some nice Koni's but there for a later date. All in all lads cheers for ya comments in abit

Nice car, but are you sure the cambelt has not been changed. If its still the original one then a change is way overdue. The first change should have been in 2005 as its due every 60K miles or 4 years (whichever occurs first). I would be looking to change that at least ASAP.
