My VRS is due its first oil and filter change under my ownership. Wondering if anyone is using the Fuchs oil available from GSF? If so which grade and how do you find it?

Car is a 2001 'y' with 92k on....

Our Lupo is currently running with Fuchs synthetic. Supposedly it's what they leave the factory with these days.

I'm using Fuchs oils that is in link in my Vrs.

Fuchs TITAN GT1 LONGLIFE III 5W-30 Premium Synthetic meeting VW504.00, VW507.00

Opie oils are very good on price and delivery.

I use Fuchs oil to the VAG specification required. My local agricultural supplier is cheaper than Opie oils or GSF. It pays to shop around for this stuff - the mark-up is huge.

No problems whatsoever with the oil - my 140k mile PSA diesel has cams like mirrors and burns virtually none. (Fuchs semi-synth every 5k miles).
