8 days and counting

Featured Replies

Thats how long a new pinch bolt is on order for so far, not good enough imo, should be a bucket of them imo in stock, tis things like this that will mean I don't buy Skoda again, so to sum up, we have a great car that if you want a bolt to complete a well known repair for, you have to wait.

Opinions?

Totally agree Superbia - this is not very good to have to wait up to now 8 days for a maintenance item. Do they have a delivery date and what do Skoda UK say about it?

Regards

John

Is is possible that the factory are OOS?

"Normally" I've had good results with special order parts from Skoda.

I wouldn't even bother to go to Skoda for spares - the dealers keep virtually no spares for the Superb in view of its market penetration.

When Rainworth Motors kindly sold me a vehicle with some of the undertray fixings missing, I got them over the counter from my local VW dealer - he didn't even need to look up the part numbers (I wonder why...). The pinch bolt would be no problem at all.
