Are there any helmet savvy people here???

I'm looking to get a helmet ready for Silverstone in September, I'm confused:

I understand that it has to be BS6658 Type A.......but what about BSI BS6658 ACU Gold Label, red label etc, and what about 22-05 stickers helmets????

Any one??????

check this with the organisers but I dont think it has to be any rating. As long as it meets standard (i.e. you can wear it on a motorbike) you should be ok.

Did a search and its explained here better than i can do it... Remember that an ACU sticker MUST be present if you intend to use it on a track (for racing or trackdays if the organiser requires it) and BS Type approval is needed for use when riding a bike on the road. Type A is the highest standard.

Remember you can't use a motorcycle helmet for a car as they're not fire retardent/proof.
