Know your Spigots

Featured Replies

I have just bought a set of alloys that had been fitted to a Subaru Impreza to be fitted to my Fabia Vrs. Checked the offset, stud pattern etc and hoped that they would straight on. I was surprised to find that they wouldnt fit on my hubs....

I did some reasearch and found that it was the spigot that was the wrong size, that little plastic washer on the inside of the alloy centre. I have now sourced a new set from a guy called Dave on ebay, just put in spigot and you'll find him.

He has found the correct inner diameter that I require and will be sending me the new ones out. £7.50 buy it now..:) He has also sorted me out a set of narrow headed bolts for my new alloys....This is a very useful contact should you get some after market alloys and have some problems...

I have some aftermarket alloys that need new spigots and bolts. Thanks for the tip.

Yup - All VAG wheels (usually) have a 57.1mm spigot and I bet most aftermarket 5*100s use spigot rings if they're not already holed for VAG hubs. :)
