Hey, I fitted my all singing dancing head unit today and it all works well however I noticed in the petty station that the blinking red lights on the door are not working?

Any ideas plz?

Does it remember settings? Perhaps you need to swap the yellow and red wires over on the head unit? Is there definitely an anti-theft LED on the front of the head unit?

urm im talking about the led on the doors that flash's when the alrm is set next to the silver pinlock, it was working slung in the new HU and now that LED is not flashing.

There is a flashing led in the door,

did you disconnect the K wire, failure to do so can interfere with the convienience ecu with unpredictable results.

What i done was buy an adapter from halfords that plugged into the stereo and then into the wiring looms so no i have done nothing apart from plug this into it all.

The adapter should take care of it, so nothing to worry about there.

The led not flashing means the deadlocks are not engaging, you will need to read the fault code to find out why.

If the light doesn't work, check if you can still get driver's window up/down. If not then the control unit in the door is on its way out

Nah works a treat mate, I dunno what i did must of pressed the button 2x or somin.
