Left the car into the dealers to sort out why I couldnt change the direction in the ventilation - they came back with a fault in the position flap motor, and a charge of £570 if I wanted it fixed!!!

They gave the following part number

6Q2819453A

Surely there must be an alternative.................?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?:eek:

The dealer price for a new flap motor was £86.69 a few years ago. Maybe a lot of labour is involved, ie stripping out the dash? Have a read of the thread below for some useful posts on this subject.

Dash has to come out hence the price.
