Typical Pipercross

Featured Replies

Just bought a pipercross induction kit for my Octy RS. I've had it fitted now for a week and everythings goin good. However, as i suspected pipercross are lazy b*@*"@~s :finger: and just supply the same kit for the golf and the Octy RS. So when fitting it to my car there is nowhere for the pipe to fit from the air pump, as the golf does'nt have the same system . So after much time wasting the air pipe is now breathing through a pipercross sock filter. Has anyone experienced the same problem?

Part number: PK141

Oh and to make matters worse, they don't supply a heat shield either.

Cheers

Si

main prblem with induction kits is heat soak, the only car i've seen pipercross do a shield for is the R5 turbo. only reason they do the heat shield is the airfilter sits directly over the turbo...

i think i've seen a few of the CAI guys running the sock filters cause the intake pipes dont have the return going back into them.
