Hello everyone,

Finally got around to registering, been reading the forums now for a couple years and found the advice pretty much invaluable for keeping my 11 year old Felicia estate on the road, with the minimum financial outlay.

Must admit have developed quite a soft spot for the little Czech car as it just keeps on going, despite countless incidents, the worst being the floods last year when it started running funny after going through deep water a bit too fast.

Also its great for shopping, removable rear seats mean it will swallow virtually any Ikea wardrobe.

Recirculating Button not working

Have come to use the A/C for the first time this past week and noticed that pressing the button for the recirculating air doesn’t appear to work. Button presses but nothing happens it doesn’t light up and stays off Also through the media center doesn’t do anything, wondering if anyone has come across this before? Or is it a trip to Skoda?

Sorry I have asked this before but can't find post. Need to know the torque/angle tightening for the front hub bolt to drive shaft. Remember there being a difference depending on 6 sided or 12 point but cant remember. Will be using new 12 point bolts and also tighten with wheel of ground. Was thinking of reusing original 12 point but it was so tight had to use a 3/4 inch breaker bar with a 5 foot pipe on it to get it to move so reckon its been stretched a fair bit. Alasdair

Anyone knows whats the issue in retrofitting original Skoda towbar? Dealer says it can't be done vecause there is bo software. But they sell the cars with "towbar preparation"...
